The Marrakesh Poker Open will celebrate its twentieth edition of 22 to 29 May 2011 at Es Saadi Casino with a restructured program again for good site and freeroll Jack Daniel’s to be held for the second time and the Main Event deepstack to 1.350 € ( DH 2 million guaranteed) to be held this time in three days.
In total six tournaments and fourteen satellites which have been entered in the schedule including several tournaments to win tickets to the WSOP Europe Main Event which takes place for the first time held in Cannes from 16 to 21 October 2011.
Marrakesh Poker Open XX: the highlights
This 20th edition of the Marrakesh Poker Open Main Event offers with 50,000 starting chips (buy-in € 1,250) and a guaranteed prize pool of 2 Million dhirams (about 180,000 €).
This main event will run over three days from May 27 to 29, departing daily at 14:00 and blind levels of 45 minutes, enough time or take any risks with his temperament as a carpet as deep with the 1.000BB start of the tournament!
Other highly anticipated tournaments, Freeroll Jack Daniel’s € 10,000 guaranteed the first edition brought together 153 players and allowed Ricardo Giacalone to pocket € 2,869. Finally, three side events will enliven the Salon Jean Bauchet between these two events: a tournament NLHE freezeout at 225 € (10,000 tokens, levels 25 minutes) on 22 and 23 May, a Deepstack 500 € (30,000 tokens, at 30 minutes) 25 and 26 May and finally a shorthanded tournament at 225 € (10,000 tokens, levels 25 minutes). All these tournaments schedules come into account for the Championship standings Morocco.
Satellites for the WSOP Europe
Not less than twelve satellites Step 1-90 € or 135 € will get a ticket for the WSOP Step 3, which will conclude the DFO XX May 29 at 18:00. The DRS is possible in this tournament for 900 € with a prize pool consisting of tickets to the World Series of Poker Europe in October at the Casino Barrière de Cannes.
